The 9th World Conference on Soft Computing (9th WConSC’24) will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on September 25-27,
2024.
Azerbaijan is a country with a 10 million population and a big reputation. Azerbaijan is a miraculous
country with its unlimited natural resources, centuries-old culture, history, and ancient people, whose
lifestyle presents a unique and harmonious combination of the traditions and ceremonies of different
cultures and civilizations, you are welcome here.
Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, as well as the largest city on the Caspian Sea and
of
the Caucasus region. Baku is the city of the scientific, cultural, and industrial center of Azerbaijan.
In recent years, Baku has become an important venue for international events. It hosted the 57th
Eurovision Song Contest in 2012, the 2015 European Games, the 2016 European Grand Prix, the 4th Islamic
Solidarity Games, and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in 2017, and hosted UEFA Euro 2020.
The main objective of 9th WConSC’24 is to present the latest research and results of scientists related
to Soft Computing, Fuzzy Logic & Fuzzy Sets, Uncertainty in Cognition, Graphical Models, Knowledge
Acquisition, Information Fusion and Aggregation, Knowledge Representation, Ontologies, Decision Support,
Cognitive Modeling, Game Theory, Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Granular Computing, Computing with
Words, Human-Centric Computing, Rough Sets, Evolutionary Computation, Neural Networks, Hybrid
Architectures.
The 9th World Conference on Soft Computing, Baku 2024, aims to bring together researchers, engineers,
and
practitioners to present the latest achievements and innovations in the multiple areas of soft
computing, to discuss thought-provoking developments and challenges, and to consider potential future
directions. One of the objectives of the conference is to encourage participation by young researchers;
to this end, student papers will be given special consideration.
The organizing committee of the conference is pleased to invite prospective authors to submit their
original
manuscripts to the 9th WConSC’24. All full paper submissions will be peer-reviewed and evaluated based
on
originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to the conference,
contributions, and readability.
Selected papers presented at the conference will be published in Springer's Soft Computing Application
Series indexed by Web of Science, and awarded papers will be recommended for publication in Fuzzy Sets
and System Journal.
